Strategic Planning for Scholarship Fair

• Site Coordinators
  • Reach out to Detroit Publlic Library to see if students who present their ID can make up to 25 copies of their resume and recommendation letters
  • Ensure Joe Dumars Field House is ready before the event
  • Setup a pre- or post-event dinner with vendors and BDYM/Infinite Scholars
• Volunteer Coordinators
  • Organize 30-35 volunteers to assist with set-up/break-down of tables and chairs and decor
  • Volunteers will also take students to tables and care for sign-in/info table
• Promotion Coordinators
  • Establish resume writing workshops; professional development; entrepreneurship; college prep; and how to manage financial responsibilities
• Vendor Coordinators
  • Provide directory map of where the tables are for colleges/universities.
  • Make poster of directory map placed at entrance and a few spots on floor
