FUZZYTEK WEARS MANY HATS!

Thanks for stopping by my profile. Fuzzytek has a lot of hats, and what you'll find here at BDYM is that I'm co-administrator for the online social network presence. I'll mention a few more things I do before I give you the details on what I do as a Social Network Administrator.

Photographer

I work with talent in creating their portfolio in images. I'm skilled in photography and graphics editing. I can create comp cards, electronic press kits, flyers for events, product catalogs, and more. I also assist in where to place them and package them to be attractive and eye catching. I understand how to market what I create.

Videographer

I work with a camera that captures either still images or records basic video. So you'll find sometimes that I switch over to video... and can create promotional trailers from the video capture.

Website Developer

I do a bit more than write HTML/CSS code. I work on creating integrated solutions. I'm not out to sell you a website without understanding its purpose to your business. I have two degrees, BS in Computer Science, and MS in Business Information Technology. Believe me the 2nd degree is the valuable one. I bring a business perspective to your online business. When you want what is online to generate something real and present, come see me and I'll show you how we do that.

Social Network Administrator

This means when you have something you'd like to promote through the group it is extremely helpful to let me know the details about your events! This is a great guide for what to offer:

  • Who - we need the sponsor and contact information, give a website address (use this site if your event is post here!)
  • What - the name of the event
  • When - date and time starting / ending, if you have a time-line of activity that is fantastic information
  • Where - need the location and if it is a large venue give specifics like a room number or identifying landmark
  • Why - what is the draw for people to your event?
  • How - is there a fee, requirements for the event, or other qualifying information

These are critical questions that should be on promotional materials for anything that is being done.

You can reach me by phone at 248-632-6156 easiest, and email at fuzzytek@yahoo.com - warning I get a lot of email and sometimes the spam filters make it tough for me to know you've got something coming to me. If you tell me your email in advance I can add it to a 'white list' of contacts that send me messages of value.

Current rates can be found in a gallery on my website: www.fuzzytek.com. You'll also be able to navigate around the various galleries present to see my work.

We are part of an EXPANDING conversation and THAT is a very good thing. As approval from the organization comes through, items are post on the site.

Dedication to a Cause vs My Time

I'm faced with making a move this week. That means my time available for online promotions is being reduced dramatically as I take on packing and coordinating the move.

I NEED your assistance. I keep seeing young people on Facebook and Myspace posting "I'm bored", or answering yet one more silly quiz/survey with pointless answers. What can we (not just me) do to engage them in a different way to use their social networking time? Could they be involved with the… Continue

Emerging Leaders Network meeting

Through ArtServe Michigan I learned about the meeting I attended tonight. It brought together creative people from around Detroit to the Majestic complex for an informal gathering to discover what the creative community at large was doing to be known, extend, and nurture.

Kim Dabbs from ArtServe was our primary leader for the night. Since this was an informal gathering the space wasn't truly laid out and reserved. Eventually the group split into three double table settings of 6-8 people gathere… Continue

Hello Fuzzytek...I haven't decided yet how I can be of service here. I was sent an invite from a member. However, I will be looking into the groups soon to determine how and if I can be of assistance.

I'm an independent filmmaker in Atlanta, and I'll be returning to the D to help stimulate the economy. I have a film to shoot this summer, so I'll need people in it. If you know some talent or crew people, have them send info to my email at: docentfilmworks@gmail.com

I am interested in getting involved with BDYM, so is tonight's meeting appropriate for me to attend (leadership meeting") or should I wait until next week?
