CONGRATULATIONS!! YAB OFFICERS!

Congratulations to the Better Detroit Youth Movements - Youth Advisory Board for taking a major step! On Wednesday the group was able to hold a full election for its officers. Congratulations to Ahmad - YAB President, Maiya - YAB Vice President, May - YAB Secretary, Diamond - YAB Treasurer & Darryl - Sgt at Arms. Big Ups to all who desired a position. Leadership is definetly in the blood of the youth of Detroit! Look forward to some fierce productivity from the group real soon.

Getting Involved.......What's an Adult to Do???

Had a great time with several of the youth from the Better Detroit Youth Movement. Asia, Mya, Mela & Mae participated in the Youth Summit sponsored by the Freedom Institute. All and all everything was okay...but the highlight occurred when several of the youth got an opportunity to participate in a mock interview provided by Ford Motor Company Exec's.
