Events coming up ... something for everyone

There area a number of projects and events that the Better Detroit Youth Movement is working on and considering as well. We have a lot of "irons in the fire" and more are being asked for. We are part of an EXPANDING conversation and THAT is a very good thing. As approval from the organization comes through, items are post on the site.

Personally I am working on a number of networking events and projects that may be of interest to you...

• 313FAD - a fashion networking website (all ages). The site has calls for models, designers, and more. Every day we get new people, events, discussions, and more.
• Entertainment talent for the Detroit Free Press Marathon on October 18 7am-noon. Something for the ear, quick to the eye, and fun for the surrounding crowd watching. Sponsored presences are very possible and desired!
• Detroit Police Officers and Judge Thomas are holding a Youth Entertainment Contest at Bert's Warehouse Theater on Thursday, October 29 6pm-10pm. This is an ALL-AGES event featuring performers from 8-11, and 12-17 years of age. As I get more details I'll be posting them.
• Spacewalk.org activities to connect with poverty and homeless through creative fun
• Corktown Music Festival on July 24, 2010
• ... and more that as I finalize plans this list will revise.
